Fashion producers/designers interested in entering the Competition should return the completed application form to the Organiser before the deadline.

Participating items and selection process

Participating items can be finished items or protocols.  For competition categories, such as fashionCLUE, participants may, when necessary, provide graphics with no more than 500 English words to show how their solutions work.

 

Fashion costs are considered to be an open secret.  Provision of garment cost is recommended, but not compulsory.

​

Experience tells that there is a higher chance for applicants to win if they were able to come and present their participating items or protocols in person or by video conferencing, when invited.  Do reserve such important dates for presentation.

Important timelines

Submission of application forms: 31 October 2017 (Student group), 31 January 2018 - extended (Open group)

Submission of participating items or protocol: 30 November 2017 (Student Group), 15 February 2018 (Open group)

Pre-selection and announcement of finalists: early December 2017 (Student group), early February 2018 (Open group)

Submission of final products (and paper) and materials for promotion: 28 February 2018

Selection of winning items: 2 March 2018

Announcement of winning items: March 2018 during PSF
